Web analytics shouldn't require a manual.
Helder was built to give you the insights you actually need, without invading your users' privacy or cluttering your screen with endless dashboards.
Why I built Helder
If you’ve ever opened a mainstream analytics platform and felt like you were staring at an airplane cockpit, you aren't alone. I started Helder because I was completely exhausted by how bloated and overly complicated web analytics had become. Founders and creators just want to know what content is resonating and where their traffic is coming from—they don't need a certification to read their own data.
Worse, the modern web has become plagued by user-hostile tracking practices. I strongly disliked the idea of forcing visitors to click through annoying GDPR consent banners just so I could see how many views a page received. There had to be a way to build a fast, beautiful analytics tool that respected the visitor while empowering the site owner.
You shouldn't have to compromise your visitors' privacy just to see if your latest blog post is getting traction.
~ Misha Bruinsma (Helder's Founder)
Our Core Beliefs
Privacy isn't a toggle, it's the default.
We use a daily rotating salt to track unique visitors. That means absolutely no cookies, no persistent device fingerprinting, and zero need for those annoying cookie consent banners.
Simplicity is a feature.
We aggressively defend against feature creep. You won't find heatmaps, session recordings, or complex funnel configurations here. Just a clean, millisecond-fast dashboard that gives you the answers you need at a glance.
Sovereign and EU-hosted.
We are an independent, bootstrapped company. All of our infrastructure and data is strictly hosted on EU-based servers, ensuring total GDPR compliance and keeping your data out of the hands of ad-tech giants.
